Glenn Lowell Homola

Born September 8, 1925, in Carey, IL, to parents Charles and Madeline (Zillinger) Homola (deceased). He was preceded in death by sisters, Carol (Homola) O Neill and Eunice Homola; and his wife of 27 years, Rosemary (Bettin) Homola.

Glenn served in the U.S. Army during WWII in both the Asiatic-Pacific and European Theaters. He was the recipient of the Army s Bronze Star Medal for meritorious achievement in ground combat against the armed enemy during WWII in the European-African-Middle Eastern Theater of Operations.

He retired from Fireman s Fund Insurance in 1983 following a long and successful career as a sales and marketing representative.

Glenn is survived by two sons and daughter-in-laws, Kenneth J. and Thelma (Baxter) Homola, and Gregg C. and Jennifer (Wooldridge) Homola; and his long-time companion, Madonna Atkinson. In lieu of flowers, please make a contribution to your favorite charity.
